Ballasts for running up to 13 watt tubes

Model # SH12-13, SH24-13 & SH48-13 ballasts. With this ballast and the proper socket, you can convert an existing fixture to use SE & DE compact fluorescent tubes up to 13 watts.

Ballasts for running up to 32 watt tubes

Model # SH12 - 18/32 and SH24 - 18/32 ballasts.
This ballast allows you to convert an existing fixture or make a fixture that uses 18 to 32 watt fluorescent tubes. Will even work with a 40 watt tube but is best with 18 to 32 watt tubes. Many people use these to convert shop lighting or fancy ceiling lighting fixtures (like boxed in fluorescent lamps) to operate from 12 volts d.c.
Input voltage range: 11.5 to 14.5 volts d.c. in the 12 volt model.
Input current: 1.5 to 2.2 amps.
Dimensions: app. 3" long by 1-3/4" front to back and 1-1/4" high.
Available in 12 or 24 volt d.c.


Fluorescent area lighting

This 15 watt under-cabinet light uses a standard tube and is available in 12, 24 or 48 volt d.c. Simple to install and use.
Dimensions: 18" long, 4-1/2" front to back and 1-3/8" thick.


RV light

This is called the RV light due to its compact size. Uses one 13 watt SE tube which is included. Easy to mount, fits just about anywhere. Ideal for lighting up counter tops as well as for use in closets and cabinets.
Has 8 inch leads for easy installation, end mounted switch.
Dimensions: 9" long, 2-3/4" front to back and 1-1/4" thick.
We stock these in 12, 24 and 48 volts d.c.


Ceiling & wall lights

These are called Drum Lights are are suitable for either ceiling or wall mounting. Available in either a 13 watt single tube style or as a 26 watt two tube. The 26 watt model has two separate ballasts so you can use one or both lights, depending on your needs. The Drum Light does not have a switch.


Indoor floodlight

These 15 watt one-piece indoor flood lights work very well for accent lighting and especially for use over a table or display. Available only in 12 volt d.c.




Down light

These 15 watt one-piece indoor flood lights work very well for accent lighting and especially for use over a table or display. Available only in 12 volt d.c.




Outdoor Weather Resistant 13 Watt Floodlights

These floodlights use a 13 watt SE tube (included) and provide a great deal of light for the amount of power used. The housing and lens are impact resistant. Hardware is stainless steel for protection against corrosion. The base of the arm housing is a male 1/2" pipe thread for easy mounting.

Head swivels for easy aiming.

Available in either a white or black housing and in either 12 or 24 volts d.c.




Vandal Resistant Area Lights

These lights are constructed of an impact resistant polycarbonate. Due to their construction, these do not have a sealing gasket and should be placed in a location protected from the weather such as under an eave.

Uses an easily replaceable 13 watt SE tube which is included.

Available in either 12 or 24 volt d.c.

Edison base (screw-in) LED Lights

D.C. led lights have an important place in portable and stationary emergency lighting systems. Our largest led light will operate on a 50 amp hour 12 volt battery for over 175 hours, the smaller ones will run even longer.

These lights use an amazingly small amout of energy and are available in either 12 or 24 volt d.c. They use 6, 12, 18 or 24 super bright white leds.

We also have these with 24 AMBER leds in either 12 or 24 volt d.c. The center of the screw base is positive, these have a built-in diode for protection against reverse polarity.

These new lights draw approximately 3 watts of power and produce a tremendous amount of light. The beam is 120 degrees which makes them ideal for both work and area lighting. Currently we are using three of these for outdoor lighting. The unit is fully potted and is sealed against moisture, you still need to keep the screw base dry. The led's are super bright white with a color temperature of 5500 degrees K which is cooler than daylight and have a tinge of blue. The leds are backed by a polished aluminum disk which enhances the light output. They are operated by power point tracking drivers which have the widest input voltage range in an led light. The base is a standard Edison medium base which allows them to be used in a standard light bulb socket which has 12 volt d.c. wired into it.

Edison base (screw-in) Fluorescent Lights

These lights fit into a standard light bulb socket when it is wired for low voltage direct current.

The tube and ballast are permanently attached to produce an economical light. Available in either 12 volt or 24 volt d.c. with wattages from 7 watts to 23 watts. Color temperatures (warm white, cool white, cold white) in 27K, 41K and 65K. The center of the screw base is positive, these have a built-in diode for protection against reverse polarity.
